Yadi Puente, M.A., LPC-s, Atr-Bc

Yadi Puente received her Masters degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and in Art Therapy from Naropa University located in Boulder, Colorado in 2005. Naropa U. is Buddhist-inspired, which emphasizes on professional and personal growth, intellectual development, and contemplative practice. Counseling takes into account the body, mind, and spirit. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in the state of Texas as well as a Board Certified Art Therapist. Yadi is trained in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and basic EMDR which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma and life stressors. She utilizes EMDR along with Art Therapy when working with her young clients.

 

Carrie Simonds, M.S., LPC-s

Carrie Simonds is a Licensed Professional Counselor and State Board Approved Supervisor in the state of Texas with a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy obtained from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2006. She has nearly two decades of experience working with systems and providing individual and group counseling to families and at-risk youth of all ages. She uses a Solution Focused Therapy approach in counseling, with consideration of attachment and relational counseling, and provides trauma informed care. Carrie is trained in Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and basic EMDR. She incorporates play and expressive modalities in therapy. Carrie also provides continuing education trainings to mental health practitioners and organizations, clinical supervision to counselors in training, and consultations and advanced supervision to Licensed Professional Counselors.

 

Ainslee Graham, M.A., LPC

Ainslee Graham is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas. She earned her Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015. Ainslee believes healing is found through human connection and uses a solution focused approach along with expressive arts, play therapy techniques and sand tray therapy techniques in order to best connect with her clients. Ainslee is also trained in trauma informed care and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) and Restorative Practices. She has counseled at-risk youth from ages 5-18 years old. Much of Ainslee’s background is in the public school setting which has given her the knowledge to navigate the education system in order to best serve her clients.

 
 
 
 

Chelsea Conaway, Phd, LPC

Dr. Chelsea Conaway is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in working with children and adolescents ages 3-17. She is experienced in working with children impacted by family removal and DFPS involvement, as well as children in the foster care system. She is under supervision to gain her Registered Play Therapist certification and uses a playful approach to building trust and addressing presenting concerns with clients and their families. Dr. Conaway uses a cognitive and dialectical behavioral approach to support clients in building the confidence and skills necessary to support emotional well-being. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is certified to provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. 

 

Meghan Westerman, m.a., lpc

Meghan Westerman is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from St. Edward’s University in 2015. With 8 years of experience providing counseling in K-12 schools, Meghan is familiar with the challenges children face in schools and has the skills to support them as they overcome these challenges. She utilizes play therapy techniques, expressive arts, and sand tray therapy to support her clients. Meghan is also trained in trauma informed care, Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

 

Sydney Wagner, M.ed., LPC Associate

Sydney has earned a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is accruing hours towards becoming fully licensure. She is under the clinical supervision of Carrie Simonds, M.S., LPC-S and Amy Burchil Lavergne, LMFT, LPC-S. She earned a BA of Communication and Theatre from Harding University located in Searcy Arkansas in 2011. She is a certified health coach and a fitness instructor. She believes in working with the body, the mind, and the spirit to achieve change and healing. She has been working with moms and their physical fitness for more than 5 years. She has counseled families and individuals, focusing recently on families with new babies and maternal mental health. She is looking forward to expanding her scope of clients and working with families and children who have experienced challenges.
